Autoresponders

Do you have your own Auto responder? An auto responder is an absolute necessity if you are going to do any type of business at all on the Internet. What is an Autoresponder?

What is Autoresponder?
This is a program or script on a mail server that automatically replies to e-mails received for a certain account. Though it is run from the mail server, an autoresponder can usually be set up by the user through a Web-based interface. For example, a company might set up an autoresponder for their support e-mail address. The reply might read something like, "We have received your support request. One of our technicians will make a half-hearted attempt to answer your question after he finishes his dart game in the lobby." Individuals can also use autoresponders to let people know when they are away from their computer and won't be able to respond to any e-mails for awhile.

Auto responders can be free for trial use or you can pay monthly fees if you want to take full advantage of what the service can do for you.

Autoresponders can eliminate a lot of work from your daily tasks. For instance;
  • Easily collect email addresses from an opt-in form on your website
  • Subscribe and unsubscribe people from your list automatically
  • Import existing lists of opt-in customers and subscribers
  • Send professional-looking email campaigns -- in text and HTML
  • Manage MULTIPLE newsletters from one interface
  • Automate your customer service with autoresponders
  • Send automated "follow-up" emails with unlimited autoresponders
  • Powerful personalization features — another prominent feature is easy-to-configure, customizable personalization! Personalization is proven to increase sales. This feature is ready for you immediately, at your fingertips!
  • Smart tracking features — know instantly and precisely, at the click of a mouse, which autoresponder message is pulling the most! (That way, you can easily tweak the weak ones, dump the duds and focus on those that siphon the most cash for you)
  • Built-in anti-spam filters — that way, you make sure good messages go through and nobody abuses your responder! The only people who will subscribe will be eager, interested and genuinely qualified prospects
  • Security, reliability and peace of mind — with many years of experience in maximizing your email marketing, you can rest assured that your list is safe. We have spent thousands of dollars on our infrastructure to ensure that you can sleep well at night!
  • Bullet-proof email delivery mechanism — delivers your mail and gets your message across to your customers, while your competitors get blocked by anti-spam software, blacklists and filters! This will boost your open rate (i.e., people actually seeing your offers) and your profits!

Now the question is do you want to pay some company for your autoresponder, or do you want to own your autoresponder? Now owning versus renting is a very interesting subject. Tomorrow we shall talk about the benefits and the dis-advantages between owning and renting your own autoresponder.

That is all for today.

Tom
